Live Burn & Learn Event with CEP Forensics

We had the incredible opportunity to participate in CEP Forensics’ first Burn And Learn event held in Alberta. It was truly a one-of-a-kind experience that took us through the entire cycle of a fire claim. As proud partners alongside Dolden, Edmonton Salvage, and First General Edmonton, we were thrilled to contribute to this continuing education day focused on understanding the complexities of fire claims.

The event was a true eye-opener, providing us and the participants with invaluable insights into the intricacies of fire investigation and property restoration. Witnessing the controlled-live burns of a room and a vehicle was both interesting and informative, showcasing the devastating speed at which a small spark can escalate into a significant loss. Our collaboration with the fire department and investigators shed light on the crucial role they play in collecting evidence and shaping the outcome of claims.

As property restoration specialists, we had the privilege of sharing our expertise with the attendees. We walked them through our comprehensive restoration process, from the initial contact to the final rebuild. Being actively involved in building the burn cell used for the controlled fire was a testament to our commitment to learning and enhancing our knowledge in the field.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to CEP Forensic for organizing this remarkable event and to the Spruce Grove Fire Department for their readiness and support. It was a day of learning, networking, and advancing our understanding of fire claims and restoration. We are proud to be part of such an educational initiative that empowers professionals to better serve their clients and communities.
